Local pub and social club announces fundraising event for Secret Santa Appeal.  The Red Lion on Manchester Road, Bradford are hosting an amazing 80’s disco night to raise funds for the Secret Santa Appeal.

The Secret Santa Appeal has been supported by the Red Lion for several years and their support continuous grows year on year.

Charles Byrne, organiser of the event said, “We ran the Secret Santa appeal as a one off event at the Red Lion many years ago. It instantly became obvious that people really appreciated and supported an event which would directly help needy children at Christmas. As we repeat the event each year I have witnessed people giving over and over again in terms of time, effort and money – just to ensure that a child they will never meet will awake to a present on Christmas morning. This response is a clear example that the people of Bradford truly understand the true meaning of giving at Christmas.”    

Michelle Pemberton, Secret Santa Appeal Co-ordinator said “Many organisations come forward at this time of year with different ideas of how they will help raise funds to buy gifts and this 80’s night is unique to the Red Lion which brings the community together on one evening to give generously to others.”
